What GaN Technology Actually Means for You
GaN — Gallium Nitride — is the same semiconductor material used in satellite power systems and military-grade electronics before it made its way into consumer charging devices. Compared to traditional silicon-based chargers:
GaN runs cooler. Silicon-based chargers convert a portion of the electrical energy they process into wasted heat — you feel this when your charger becomes warm to the touch during extended use. GaN operates at higher switching frequencies with significantly lower energy loss, meaning less heat is produced for the same power output. In practical terms: this adapter stays considerably cooler during long international flights or overnight hotel charging compared to a conventional travel adapter of equivalent power.
GaN charges faster. Because GaN circuits lose less energy as heat, more of the electrical input is delivered as actual charging current to your device. The 25W output from this adapter is genuine, consistent fast-charging power — not a marketing claim that degrades to 10W when two devices are connected simultaneously.
GaN is smaller. Traditional charger components need physical space to dissipate heat. GaN components need far less. The entire 4-port, 150-country adapter fits in a form factor of just 8.8 × 5.5 × 5.5 cm — smaller than many single-country wall chargers without international plug support.

The adapter supports five international plug standards through deployable prong heads, all stored within the adapter's compact body:
India (Type D/C): The Indian standard 3-pin (Type D) and 2-pin (Type C) plug configurations are supported — a critical differentiator for Indian travellers, since many universal adapters technically claim "150 countries" but exclude Indian socket compatibility for devices that need to plug in India, not just abroad.
United Kingdom (Type G): The standard UK/Ireland/Malta/Singapore 3-rectangular-pin configuration.

The adapter supports input voltages from 100V to 250V at 50/60 Hz — making it compatible with any standard mains power supply worldwide without voltage conversion requirements, as long as your connected devices also support dual voltage (which virtually all modern smartphones, laptops, cameras, and tablets do).
Safety Systems — What's Inside
Every electrical product that enters a foreign wall outlet is, in principle, a risk. The safety architecture of this adapter addresses the four most common failure modes in travel adapters:
In-Built Fuse: A replaceable internal fuse provides the primary overcurrent protection layer — if a sudden surge exceeds the rated safe threshold, the fuse breaks the circuit before damage can propagate to connected devices or the adapter itself.
Short Circuit Protection: The charging circuits include active short-circuit detection that interrupts power delivery within microseconds of detecting an abnormal current condition — protecting both the adapter and any connected device from short-circuit events.
Overvoltage Protection: Active overvoltage monitoring shuts down output ports if input voltage exceeds the safe operating range — relevant in countries with unstable grid infrastructure where voltage spikes are not uncommon.
CE and FCC Certified: CE certification confirms compliance with European Union electrical safety standards. FCC certification confirms compliance with US Federal Communications Commission standards for electromagnetic compatibility. Both certifications require third-party laboratory testing — they are not self-declared.
Fire-Retardant ABS Body: The outer casing uses ABS plastic with flame-retardant additives — the material does not support combustion and limits fire risk in the event of an extreme internal fault.
