Universal GaN Travel Adapter
Universal GaN Travel Adapter
Why Your Current Travel Adapter Is Holding You Back
Most universal travel adapters are an engineering compromise — they support multiple plug types but offer no charging ports beyond a basic USB slot, force you to carry separate cables, and generate enough heat to make you wonder whether your laptop charger is safe. The better ones solve the plug problem but miss the cable problem entirely. Few address the heat problem at all.
This GaN universal travel adapter was designed from the ground up to solve all three. Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology replaces the silicon-based circuitry in traditional chargers with a more efficient semiconductor that generates less heat, occupies less physical space, and delivers more power per gram of product. A retractable 70cm Type-C cable eliminates the separate cable problem entirely. And a built-in fuse with overvoltage and short-circuit protection means you can plug confidently into hotel sockets from Bangkok to Birmingham.

All About Me
The Indian executive travelling internationally: Business travel from India to Europe, the UK, the Gulf, Southeast Asia, and North America typically involves juggling at least three different plug configurations across a two-week trip. This adapter eliminates every plug-related problem in one object, while the GaN technology means fast-charging performance on devices that need to be ready for the next morning's meeting.
The student heading abroad: For Indian students relocating to the UK, US, Australia, or Europe, a universally compatible GaN adapter is infrastructure — not a nice-to-have. The retractable cable means one less item to track in a student dorm or shared house.
Corporate gifting programs: A travel adapter is among the highest-utility gifts in the corporate portfolio for organisations whose employees travel regularly. Unlike a branded notebook or a decorative desk item, a travel adapter is used every single trip — it lives in the carry-on bag permanently. Your brand on a product the recipient pulls out at Heathrow, at Dubai Airport, at Changi, at JFK — is brand visibility that no desk item can compete with. Available with custom logo printing on the body and branded EVA case for bulk orders.
The frequent flyer: Any traveller who has ever been charged for an extra cable at an airport duty-free, spent 20 minutes looking for a socket in a hotel, or run a laptop on 15% battery through a four-hour meeting will recognise what this adapter offers. It is, genuinely, the last travel adapter purchase you need to make.

GaN — Gallium Nitride — is the same semiconductor material used in satellite power systems and military-grade electronics before it made its way into consumer charging devices. Compared to traditional silicon-based chargers:
GaN runs cooler. Silicon-based chargers convert a portion of the electrical energy they process into wasted heat — you feel this when your charger becomes warm to the touch during extended use. GaN operates at higher switching frequencies with significantly lower energy loss, meaning less heat is produced for the same power output. In practical terms: this adapter stays considerably cooler during long international flights or overnight hotel charging compared to a conventional travel adapter of equivalent power.
GaN charges faster. Because GaN circuits lose less energy as heat, more of the electrical input is delivered as actual charging current to your device. The 25W output from this adapter is genuine, consistent fast-charging power — not a marketing claim that degrades to 10W when two devices are connected simultaneously.
GaN is smaller. Traditional charger components need physical space to dissipate heat. GaN components need far less. The entire 4-port, 150-country adapter fits in a form factor of just 8.8 × 5.5 × 5.5 cm — smaller than many single-country wall chargers without international plug support.
The Retractable Cable: The Feature That Changes How You Pack
Every frequent traveller has made the same mistake: arrived at a destination, opened their bag, and realised the USB-C cable is in a different bag, tangled around a charging block, or simply forgotten. This adapter eliminates that scenario permanently.
A 70cm Type-C cable is stored inside the adapter body itself, on a spring-loaded retractable mechanism. Pull the cable out when you need it. Let it retract when you don't. No coiling, no tangling, no dedicated cable pouch required. The retractable mechanism is built for repeated use — not a fragile novelty feature.
The 70cm length is a deliberate choice. It is long enough to charge a phone placed on a bedside table with the adapter plugged into a wall socket above. It is long enough to reach a laptop on a desk when the outlet is behind it. It is short enough to not create the floor-to-outlet cable hazard that longer cables produce in hotel rooms with awkwardly placed sockets.
Four Ports. One Outlet. Four Devices Charging Simultaneously.
The adapter provides four USB charging ports on its front face:
3 × USB-C Ports: All three Type-C ports support USB Power Delivery (PD). When a single device is connected to any one of the three, it receives up to 25W — enough to fast-charge a modern smartphone from 0% to 50% in approximately 35-40 minutes under optimal conditions. When multiple devices are connected, power is intelligently distributed across ports. For travellers carrying a phone, tablet, earphones, and laptop simultaneously, this means a single wall outlet handles all four devices through one adapter.
1 × USB-A Port: The USB-A port supports standard charging for devices that use USB-A to micro-USB or USB-A to Lightning cables — older Android phones, earphones, smart watches, and similar peripherals that have not yet migrated to USB-C. This future-forward design supports both the current generation of USB-C devices and the still-common USB-A legacy device population.
Five Plug Types, 150+ Countries, One Body
The adapter supports five international plug standards through deployable prong heads, all stored within the adapter's compact body:
India (Type D/C): The Indian standard 3-pin (Type D) and 2-pin (Type C) plug configurations are supported — a critical differentiator for Indian travellers, since many universal adapters technically claim "150 countries" but exclude Indian socket compatibility for devices that need to plug in India, not just abroad.
United Kingdom (Type G): The standard UK/Ireland/Malta/Singapore 3-rectangular-pin configuration.
United States/Canada/Mexico (Type A/B): The flat-blade configuration used across North America, Central America, Japan, and parts of Latin America.
Europe/Asia (Type C/E/F): The round 2-pin configuration used across continental Europe, Russia, Turkey, South Korea, and most of Asia.
Australia/New Zealand/China (Type I): The diagonal flat-prong configuration used across Oceania and parts of South America.
The adapter supports input voltages from 100V to 250V at 50/60 Hz — making it compatible with any standard mains power supply worldwide without voltage conversion requirements, as long as your connected devices also support dual voltage (which virtually all modern smartphones, laptops, cameras, and tablets do).
Safety Systems — What's Inside
Every electrical product that enters a foreign wall outlet is, in principle, a risk. The safety architecture of this adapter addresses the four most common failure modes in travel adapters:
In-Built Fuse: A replaceable internal fuse provides the primary overcurrent protection layer — if a sudden surge exceeds the rated safe threshold, the fuse breaks the circuit before damage can propagate to connected devices or the adapter itself.
Short Circuit Protection: The charging circuits include active short-circuit detection that interrupts power delivery within microseconds of detecting an abnormal current condition — protecting both the adapter and any connected device from short-circuit events.
Overvoltage Protection: Active overvoltage monitoring shuts down output ports if input voltage exceeds the safe operating range — relevant in countries with unstable grid infrastructure where voltage spikes are not uncommon.
CE and FCC Certified: CE certification confirms compliance with European Union electrical safety standards. FCC certification confirms compliance with US Federal Communications Commission standards for electromagnetic compatibility. Both certifications require third-party laboratory testing — they are not self-declared.
Fire-Retardant ABS Body: The outer casing uses ABS plastic with flame-retardant additives — the material does not support combustion and limits fire risk in the event of an extreme internal fault.
Packaging: The EVA Hard Case
The adapter ships with an EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) hard-shell travel case — a zip-closure protective pouch that keeps the adapter, its retractable cable, and any additional cables from damage during transit. EVA is the same material used in protective cases for camera lenses and precision instruments — lightweight, structured, and impact-resistant. For corporate gifting programs, the EVA case can be custom-printed with company branding as an additional packaging touchpoint.
