Return & Refund Policy – The Happiness Story
At The Happiness Story, every hamper is crafted with love and care to celebrate your special occasions. Since our products include perishables, edibles, and personalized items, we have a strict but fair return and refund policy to ensure transparency and trust.
1. General Policy
- Due to the nature of gifting hampers, returns are not accepted unless the product delivered is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- Concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for replacement or refund.
2. Eligibility for Replacement / Refund
- You must provide a clear, unedited unboxing video starting from the unopened package until all contents are displayed.
- Only items that are unused, sealed, and in their original condition are eligible for consideration.
- Personalized / custom hampers (with names, messages, or branding) cannot be returned or refunded unless damaged in transit.
3. Replacements
- Approved replacements will be shipped as per our standard shipping policy timelines.
- Replacement will be provided only for the affected product(s), not the entire hamper, unless the complete order is defective.
4. Refunds
- If replacement is not possible, we will issue a refund.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.
- In some cases, you may opt for store credit for future purchases.
5. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Cases
- Products reported after the 24-hour window.
- Consumables spoiled due to external conditions (e.g., heat-sensitive chocolates, dry fruits).
- Items damaged after delivery due to misuse.
- Custom or personalized hampers.
6. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if they haven’t been dispatched.
- Once dispatched, cancellations will not be accepted.
- No cancellations on personalized/custom orders.
7. How to Raise a Return / Refund Request
- Contact our support team at support@happinessstory.in within 24 hours of delivery.
- Provide:
- Order ID
- Clear unboxing video
- Photos & description of the issue
- Our team will review and confirm the next steps.
