Description
WHY IT IS A CASE AND NOT A BOX

Work out what survives a Diwali hamper. The dry fruit lasts a fortnight, the cookies less. The diyas are lit once. And the box — the rigid, foiled, ribboned box that a real share of the price paid for — is flattened and gone by the second week of November.

This one does not go anywhere. It is MDF, hard-sided, with a hinged lid, two metal clasps, a fabric-wrapped carry handle and a laser-cut lattice panel set behind a clear window. It has a fitted gold-lined interior. Emptied, it holds documents, jewellery, cables, medicines, a child's collection of small important things. It is the sort of object people carry from one house to the next.

That is the difference between packaging and a gift, and it is the reason to send this rather than a larger quantity of the same nuts in a tray.

TEN THINGS, AND THEY COVER THREE DIFFERENT EVENINGS

Most hampers at this level do one thing well and pad the rest. This one covers the whole festival.

**The food.** 100g each of cashews, pistachios and almonds — 300g in total — in matched glass jars with bamboo lids that re-seal, plus 20 chocolates in a fourth jar and an 85g pack of chocolate chip cookies. The jars are worth keeping too; nothing here is a pouch decanted into a bowl.

**The fragrance.** A scented jar candle with a wooden lid, and 40 incense sticks. Between them they cover the evening and the mornings after it.

**The puja.** Two hand-painted diyas, ready for the threshold or the balcony rail.

**And the one nobody else has:** four scented candles moulded as **modaks and ladoos** — two of each, in a gold tray. A sweet you cannot eat, sitting in a box full of sweets you can. It is the thing people photograph, and it is the reason this box is remembered rather than merely received.

300G, AND WE PRINT THE NUMBER

Go through this category and count how many listings state a weight. Almost none do. The most common complaint about festive hampers in India is that the box looked fuller in the photograph than it did in the hand — and that complaint exists precisely because the quantity is hidden.

100g, 100g, 100g, 20 pieces, 85g, 40 sticks. Printing it is the cheapest trust available in this market.

WHO IT IS FOR

The recipient you cannot send an ordinary hamper to — the senior client, the in-laws, the boss, the family you are marrying into. It reads as considered before it is opened, because the case is the first thing they see and it does not look like a gift box.

For corporate lists it does the same job at scale, and the case can be customised for a run. A month later, everybody else's box is in the bin and yours is on a shelf being used.

Additional information
THE CASE

MDF, hard-sided, with a hinged lid, two gold clasps, a fabric-wrapped carry handle and a laser-cut geometric lattice panel set behind a clear window in the lid. The interior is gold-lined with fitted compartments that hold the jars upright in transit.

It is the reason this hamper costs what it does, and the reason it is still around next year. Wipe it with a dry cloth; keep it out of standing water and direct sun, as with any finished wood product. We have not yet confirmed its exact dimensions or weight and would rather say so than estimate — ask us if you need them before a bulk order.

THE JARS

Four matched glass jars with bamboo lids: cashews 100g, pistachios 100g, almonds 100g and 20 chocolates. 300g of dry fruit in total. Every lid re-seals, and the jars are worth keeping in their own right — nothing here arrives in a pouch to be decanted.

THE COOKIES

An 85g pack of chocolate chip cookies, sealed.

THE TWO KINDS OF CANDLE

A **scented jar candle** with a wooden lid, for the evening itself. And a **four-piece set of scented candles moulded as modaks and ladoos** — two of each, in a gold tray. They look exactly like the sweets they are named after, which is the joke and also the point: they are the thing in this box people pick up and turn over.

**They are candles, not confectionery. Do not eat them.** Keep the tray out of reach of children who will reasonably assume otherwise. Trim any wick to about five millimetres before lighting, never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep all of them away from curtains and pets.

THE INCENSE AND THE DIYAS

40 incense sticks in a printed box, and two hand-painted diyas in red and gold for the threshold, the balcony rail or the windowsill. Between the incense, the diyas and the candles, the box covers the ritual properly rather than gesturing at it with a single diya.

THE CARD

A festive greetings card printed with your own message, so the gift arrives in your words. On a corporate run your logo prints alongside it.

WHAT WE HAVE NOT FINALISED, AND WILL NOT GUESS

The hamper contains **tree nuts — cashews, pistachios and almonds** — plus chocolate and cookies, and that is in the Specification. The full allergen declaration, including wheat, dairy and soy, is not yet finalised, so please check with us before sending this to anyone with a food allergy rather than reading it off the names.

Case dimensions and weight, jar capacity, candle wax and burn times, incense fragrance and burn time, and shelf life on the edibles are all being confirmed and are deliberately absent rather than estimated.

FOR BULK AND CORPORATE ORDERS

Nothing in the case is perishable or temperature-sensitive, so it can be ordered ahead of the festival fortnight and held — the single biggest operational problem in corporate festive gifting. The case can be customised for a run; send us your quantity and the date you need delivery and we will confirm both, with a GST invoice, and come back with a mock-up before anything is produced.
Returns
Hampers are not eligible for return, exchange or refund, with the single exception of a hamper that arrives damaged in transit, which must be reported to the delivery partner at the time of delivery so the claim can be raised.
Please note
Wipe the case with a dry cloth and keep it out of standing water and direct sun, as with any finished wood product. Keep all four jars closed between uses — the bamboo lids re-seal. Store the incense away from damp.

**The modak and ladoo candles are candles, not sweets.** They are moulded and coloured to look like confectionery and they are convincing, so keep the tray out of reach of children. Trim any wick to about five millimetres before lighting, let a jar candle's first burn reach the edge of the glass so it does not tunnel, never leave a lit candle or diya unattended, and keep all of them away from curtains and pets.

The hamper contains tree nuts — cashews, pistachios and almonds — plus chocolate and cookies. The full allergen declaration is not yet finalised. Please check with us before sending this to anyone with a food allergy.

CUSTOMIZE IT — LOGOS, BRANDING & BULK ORDERS.

The case is the surface, and it is a good one: a large, flat, rigid MDF lid already carrying a laser-cut lattice panel, which is proof the stock takes precision work. It is customisable for a run. Your message and logo also print on the festive greetings card, which is the piece that stays inside.

Send us your quantity and the date you need delivery and we will confirm both, with a GST invoice, and come back with a mock-up before anything is produced.
